We're not looking for revenue. We're looking for founders building something real, meaningful, and needed.
Impact
What you've built creates a genuine, tangible benefit for the people who use it. It solves a real problem, not a hypothetical one.
Momentum
You've made real progress since starting: a product that exists, people using it your service, a community forming, something built and shipped — even without revenue.
Meaningful Purpose
You built this because it needed to exist, not because it was easy or trendy. The "why" behind it is real. It is meaningful and impactful
Motherhood
You are actively founding and building while raising kids, navigating both at once.
Founder Story
Your path to founding this is one worth telling — the decision, the risk, the reason it's you who built it.
Global Representation
We actively seek to recognise founders across geographies, industries, and backgrounds. The Founder Awards should reflect the diversity of mom founders worldwide.

Application terms
Please read before applying
The $197 application fee is required at time of submission and is non-refundable under any circumstances, including if your application is not selected.
Paying the application fee does not guarantee selection. All applications are reviewed on merit by the Mothered editorial team.
Applicants must have founded their product or service on or before January 2026. Businesses founded after January 2026 are not eligible for this cycle.
Revenue is not required. Applicants do not need to have generated income — impact and momentum matter more than monetization at this stage.
20 winners will be selected from all applications received during August 15 – September 30, 2026.
Winners receive a 2-page editorial feature in the December 2026 issue of Mothered Magazine, included as part of the award at no additional cost.
The editorial feature includes a written interview (approximately 500–750 words) and 1–2 photos provided by the winner.
All applicants — whether selected or not — will be listed on the official Mothered Founder Awards 2026 Nominations directory on the Mothered Media website.
Mothered Media reserves the right to edit all editorial content for length, clarity, and alignment with editorial standards.
Winners must submit their interview responses and photos by November 15, 2026.

Your product, app, service, or company needs to have been started — meaningfully underway, not just an idea — by January 2026. If you launched or began building it after that, it's not eligible for this cycle.

The Mothered editorial team reviews all applications based on the six criteria: impact, leadership, motherhood, story, authenticity, and representation. Decisions are final.

There are no restrictions. We welcome founders, executives, corporate leaders, coaches, creatives, and women at every career stage. We welcome founders across every industry — tech, consumer products, services, nonprofits, and more — as long as what you've built is meant to help others.
